This is my first ID. I sorta just threw it together.

The quote in my ID is by the German writer and my hero, Hermann Hesse. When I was going through some rough times in my life, I read Demian and it changed my outlook on life completely. Since then, I have read every one of his major works.
Anyways, that quote is very important to me because it represents what I ultimately want to do in my life- understand people and their nature. I already know who I am- now I want to know everyone else.
That's part of the reason why I'm learning Esperanto and I know bits and pieces of other languages (my Spanish is fairly good) because not every person in the world needs to know English and I don't expect them to.

I haven't been on in almost a year mostly because I am a very busy person and real life takes precedence over DeviantArt and whenever signing on would cross my mind, so would all of the inevitable notifications (I have 14, 960 staring at me right now) that I'll inevitably have to either a) wade through slowly or b) delete them all and start over, I kept putting it off.
I have been very happy and satisfied with my life lately and everything is going well.

Quite literally, actually.
I am deeply sorry for the fact that I've been inactive for awhile. I've been sick for awhile among other things, such as the fact I've been busy IRL and I've been a little disenchanted with deviantArt for some time. And then there's the issue of my sporadic episodes of writers' block, which doesn't help any.
I hope to be active regularly again and catch up as soon as possible.
But there is good news, I got a new computer for Christmas, so I should be on more often now.
